Why the First 24 Hours Look Different
Florida law requires a judge to review a domestic violence arrest before bail can be set, and that review can take up to 24 hours. This is different from most charges, where bail is often set from a standard schedule right after booking.
Once the judge does set a bail amount, we can post the bond right away. The waiting period for the review itself is not something a bail bond company can speed up, but we can make sure nothing is delayed once it is time to act.

What is a no-contact order?
It is a condition of release that stops the person from contacting the alleged victim, sometimes including a shared home or children, until the court says otherwise. It is separate from the bail bond itself.
Can someone go back home after posting bail on a domestic violence charge?
Not always. If a no-contact order covers the home or the other person living there, the person may need somewhere else to stay until the court changes that condition.
Is the bail bond fee still 10% for a domestic violence charge?
Yes. Once bail is set, Florida law still caps the bond fee at 10% of the bail amount, the same as any other charge.
Can you start the bond before the judicial review is finished?
